Interview with Sandra Greiner, team leader Additive Manufacturing at the Institute of Polymer Technology (University of Erlangen-Nuremberg), about the trends in material and machine development of plastic AM with a special focus on Selective Laser Sintering
Sandra Greiner originally comes from Nuremberg in Bavaria. She studied Medical Engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. After graduation, she accepted a position as a doctoral candidate at Professor Drummer’s Institute of Polymer Technology at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her scientific focus is on the thermal process understanding of the laser powder bed fusion process. In 2020, she was entrusted with the management of additive manufacturing department at the institute.
